Blog as did iWeb

I know this might be bad timing seeing the latest releases but it sure would be nice to have a blog integrated with my site. I use to talk about it a lot and decided to back off but again may I put my request in.

We are working hard on a blogging feature but don't yet have a timeline of when it will be released.

I can't imagine how much work you are going through. I hated to sent this post right after just posting your latest version. I hope the timing wasn't too bad. While you are working on it there was a way to have each post automatically post on FaceBook. One thing I know has been an issue is the ability to change the image of the blog. To be able to change the image for a blog every now and then would be a wonderful asset. I would be able to add pics as well.
Truly not being demanding just throwing in my 2 cents for the wish list.
Be well!

Regarding blogging, I have made a news/blog for my website which follows your temporary workaround - Making a list of entries, then linking them to a unique page. It works really well but is a bit fiddly to update as I have to keep moving previous posts down, to fit the new one at the top, then move older postings to other pages etc as I have a two page blog listing now... which will only grow as I bother to update it.

The blog you are working on I know will be the future of my news/blog postings however I can't recall anyone from Rage actually asking users what they want from a blog? My fear is that it will work, but like the slideshow will be missing some features users may want, adding to the frustration.

My needs are simple but two fold. I would like to see a main website blog and a mobile site blog... Here is my main one: http://synergyschoolradio.com/news/index.html and here is my mobile one: http://dus100.ragesw.com/~synergys/m-school-radio-news/index.html

The main one has the following: Title, Author, Categories, Date. A large picture and an initial description with a link to the actual posting. Will this be possible with the new blogging feature you are working on? I'm happy to work with variations to this in terms of style and look but would like; Title, author, categories, date, picture and some initial text...

The mobile version is the same without the picture and a big "READ" button to link to the post.

Like many others, being able to update it quickly, from a phone/laptop not running EW would be amazing!

Cheers - Still loving the product! I hope MacWorld was a success for you.

Thanks for the suggestions Darren.1

1. The RSS Feed can be used to show your blog's RSS feed and changed based on the page type.

2. Your mobile page should be link to http://synergyschoolradio.com/m-school-radio-news/index.html (not the way you have posted it)

3. If you need specific features in the Image Slider, please start a new topic and let us know

4. We will always be improving it based on feedback, but what to get the basic functionality of the blog completed before we start taking suggestions at this point

In reference to a planned Blog set-up. iWeb blog was kind of cool, automatically porting thumbnail of main image and part of text to a main page. Other blogs seem to just string the entire posting. Instead of a choice between these two - I wonder if it would be too complex to have the option to have a different setting for the main page for listing the most recent posting. With larger thumbnail and more text than the rest on the list - sort of featuring it??

Although I don't want to make any guarantees, I think something like this may be possible once we implement the blogging feature.
