Why can't I get my domain name ?

| I recently let my old hosting pages to expire along with my domain name. Now I'm with ever web and can't get my recently used domain name over to ever web. When I try it says its not available but when I go back to my old hosting site, it isn't showing my old site or my domain name. This has all happened in the last few days. Do I need to wait a few more days for my domain name to become available ? I'm so P.C. challenged and especially trying to get my own web site together. Any help in this manner would certainly be appreciated. Thanks. Bob | |

You didn't update your name servers. You need to change your name servers with your current domain registrar. Domain name servers tell a domain what server to point too. They are two simple lines of text and you should see a field in your account to enter them. Delete all name servers you see in your account and change them to the ones you see below. After a few hours your domain will start to point to our server.
