Published updated site to EverWeb at 2 AM this morning.

7 hours later, the glitchy old iWeb site is still there.

How long does this take?

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Lena,

I suspect that your browser is loading the pages within the cache, not directly on the website server...

Try to hold the SHIFT key while reloading the page ; if it doesn't work, while you are viewing the old page, you can initiate a complete reload without reloading from the cache by holding the COMMAND key plus R at the same time. This will initiate a complete reload from the server. Try to do it a couple of times. If it doesn't work, empty your browser cache first and close the browser, reopen and try the 2 commands.

Tried all that.

Says it's published.

It is not.

Frustrating.

Can you check the files on the server side if they are the ones that were supposed to be uploaded ? If all is there, it supposed to show instantly. Unless your old files are still on the server.

Did you uploaded the files via FTP within EverWeb or a standalone FTP software ?

Thanks Marc,

I transfered to EverWeb (sent them my code from other service, etc.) so I published via EverWeb...

To load the replacement website (built from scratch on EverEeb), I simply went to the "Publish" page that instructs "Publish To: EverWeb" and clicked "Publish Entire Site."

It takes awhile to load (media files from music publishing company).

The "Pie shaped" indicator shows it's loading, I am told it has published and to visit the page. Can't find it...

I've been making websites on iWeb for years. In the past, any publishing "fix" ended up being easy.

I'm ready to get this site up...

I now deleted my old site.

Published via EverWeb (not FTP) but new site is still not publishing...

I responded to your other post with the solution.
