Viewing contactform

contactform

Is it possible to keep two contactforms widgets on the same site, pointing at two different and separate e-mailadresses (all this within the same domain which is not EverWeb hosted)?

Regardless of what I specify in the e-mail field in the contactwidget, only one will show up in the published "ew_PHP > ew_contactform.php". Is it possible to edit that .php and how in such case? I only managed to edit it with a change of the adress, but not combining two so that the widget specified adresses would work. Any other known workaround?

Thanks

You'll need to upgrade to version 1.3 to do this. Use the Check for Update feature under the EverWeb menu at the top of your screen.

I'm on v1.3b4 actually.
Does it matter that I started to build the projekt on the 1.2 but I didn't pull the widget in until I was running 1.3?

Thanks for responding so fast

Hi Jonas,

There is a newer version that fixes this problem. Please update to it and it will fix this problem for you.

It doesn't matter what version you added the widget in. When you update to the latest version it will work properly.

Hi Paul,

sorry that fix isn't happy here. I realized that I was on an older beta and updated to the sharp version from the menu like you said. But no go.

I've pulled out one contact widget each different page here. Configured them to point at two different e-mailadresses. Still, both widgets dumps the messages into one and the same e-mailadress.

Checking the "ew_contactform.php" shows me a line like this = using one e-mailadress only.:

"$emailRecipient = 'xxxxx@xxxxxxx.com'; // Enter recipient Email Here"

If I manually change the e-mail adress to the second one which is specified in one of the contactwidgets – then it goes into that right box without problem. In fact both widgets now dives into that new adress. I shoulden't need to put one of the pages/widgtes on a subdomain in a separate site…. even if it probably would work.

I did clean out the Publish folder completely before exporting the site into it locally before using Transmitt to bump it up to my host online, so no leftovers.

Is the .php file loaded with the e-mailadress taken from my sign in information at your place, perhaps? It doesn't seem to grab the information from any of the widgets, if it would… why from the same widget all the time then?
