Blurry Browser Background when publishing

User: Steve M. 10 years ago
Hello. Attached is an image of the site I'm building within EverWeb and what it looks like published. The background image was originally created in Adobe Illustrator so it's a vector and was exported as a jpg. As can be seen from the screenshot, the image is tack sharp in EverWeb, but once exported it becomes blurry. Any suggestions?

Nevermind. I exported from Illustrator as a png instead of jpg and it's nice and sharp now. EverWeb must handle jpgs and png differently, that's nice to know. Maybe you guys could add that to the documentation somewhere. You can delete this post if you like or maybe save it for someone else who experiences this problem.

EverWeb doesn't treat PNGs or JPEGs differently. Please send us the PNG file that is giving you problems so we can take a look. Also please indicate if you are using a retina or non-retina Mac.

I have a 2011 iMac, it's a non-retina machine and the images should be attached if the forum posts them correctly. Last time I tried to upload multiple images it just posted three instances of the last one attached with different file names so I deleted them.
