Images still migrating down, after saved, and extra space added to bottom of text boxes...

Thought this was miraculously healed like other issues, but images are still migrating down, after saved, and extra space added to bottom of text boxes...

http://youtu.be/6FIf0K7YpO8

The images are not supposed to be covering the text (see video) and there is only supposed to appear to be ½ inch space between the text boxes, and there should be only one extra space at bottom of text in box...

Also, when adding text boxes and pasting copied text, thousands of pixels worth of blank space is showing up at bottom of text, so have to spend lots of time resizing the text boxes. prior to inserting text, I am sizing boxes to desired width, with no extra space at bottom, so that's not problem..

Thanks,

Lena

HI Lena,

You don't have to post a 3 minute video of what your website looks like. You can post a screenshot if that's all you're going to show.

You can take a screenshot by holding down the COMMAND and SHIFT keys on your keyboard and then pressing the number 3. An image file will appear on your desktop, please send that to me. If your email client asks, select the option to send the full size, or original image file.

But, as I said in your other thread, without seeing exactly what you are doing I don't know why this is happening. The reason I asked you to show me a video was because you said it looked fine and then you closed and re-opened EverWeb and the images move. That is what I want to see.

Just showing a me a video of what the final result is, doesn't allow me to see the exact steps of what you are doing which leads up to the problem of moving images so I can attempt to reproduce it here.

I thought you asked for a movie... Sorry!

The video did not move around, dso why could not you have looked at it? (I deleted it.)

I have known since screenshots were first availablem how to make one, and I wondered why you didn't ask for one earlier.

Where do I send it?

Never uploaded a screenshot to YouTube before... I'll look into it...

One thing that helps, is on EverWeb, I broke my lenghty texts into smaller text boxes.

I was used to having super-long textboxes with images within them (text wraping, etc.) in iWeb.

That method (iWeb) kept everything in place (otherwise things drifted around).

In Everweb, I tried long text boxes with images over/under them... they looked fine until saved and reopened. They drifted apart... Images slid down (increasingly as scroll down pages).

In EverWeb, it is like 2 T-shirts. One is the text box and the other it image.

One shirt is cotton and the other polyester. Everytime I "wash" them (i.e., save them, close out and reopen), one shrinks and the other does not (or is one expanding??).

That is the best analogy I can come up with.

I am creating long mobile-device-friendly "scroll down alot" pages, so that was a problem. A little "drift" goes a long way...

You may want to share this if others have issues as I did. By dividing the text into smaller boxes, in-between and around images, I have taken care of most "drift apart" problems. Minor ones are "tweaked" in edit.

Still having extra space appearing at botton of text boxes from time to time. Yes, I have deleted all extra spaces and resized the boxes to hug up next to last line of text...

I think it'll be okay... I'll still try to send the image, though FYI.

Do keep the team working on adding a text-raping feature.

Now, if i could just publish this. it. The wait is maddening. (Yes, I sent in the code, paid you guys, etc., yesterday...)

Appreciate you.

Hi Lena,

You aren't understanding what I am asking for. I am asking for a VIDEO that SHOWS how the objects move when you close and re-open EverWeb. NOT a what it looks like once the objects have moved.

I have answered your publishing question in your other forum post.
