Are sample sites from EW users planned for EverWeb’s main web page rather than for the Forum? (I realize there’s one sample listing for hackido.org.at the bottom of the main (first) EverWeb page.) Thanks... Last edit 12 years ago |

I take it that you are referring to this post by Jeremy inviting users to submit sites for inclusion in a page with examples of EverWeb created sites? I would imagine that it will require a lot of time and effort to research and create such a page and that it will appear in due course. There was a page that had several websites created with EverWeb but it didn't seem to be linked to anything and now I lost the address... But it was on the EverWeb site.

Thanks, Yelena. What I'm thinking is that being able to see sample web sites (not pages) on EverWeb's main page—in contrast to the Forum—could be a valuable marketing tool. Sandvox, for example, has an interesting take on sample sites—on the second line at the top of their main site, you see a link right away for Sites Spotlight. Click on that and you go right to a page that instantly gives you a vivid, colorful sense of a number of sites their users have created. I haven’t yet found anything along those lines at EverWeb though something like that may be in the works and I just don't know about it. |

Actually, this is what I was describing, they did have a page that had sample websites created by us. Clicking on the picture would take one to that website...

Yes, that just the kind of page I had in mind. Maybe I missed it, but I couldn't find see how a visitor coming onto EverWeb for the first time readily accesses it from the EverWeb main page... |

| We didn't link the page from the EverWeb site yet, but we will as soon as we add some more examples to the page. We have posted the link on the forums before so that is probably how you saw it. | |
