HI, I'm trying to change one of my page names in the navigation bar tab on the side in Everweb and can't seen to get it to take - tried publishing it etc. to no avail. Can someone help? Thanks. |

Make sure you also change Navigation Menu Display Name in the Page Details section of the Inspector.

The left hand column of the EverWeb window lists the page file (and directory) file names. These are not the same as the name that is displayed in the navigation menu - or shouldn't be! As Yelena has pointed out, the navigation menu display name is set in the Page inspector window where you can also enter or change the the file name. Using different words for the file and display name is good for SEO because it gives you an opportunity to use more keywords. You should never use generic names like home, about, photos, movie, contact and so on for the file or display names.
