| I'm looking for the Image Slider widget to deliver more control over the size, location or spacing of the thumbnails when implementing a slide show. Also the transition appears a little raggedy when transitioning from one slide to another. | |

The developers have manage to include a good number of options without making the slider widget too complicated. To change the size of the thumbs and the position and size of the the carousel requires fairly extensive modifications to the stylesheet. The widget uses the Galleria default theme which can be downloaded and modified. Here's an example of the slider customized for a responsive site where the position of the thumbs has been changed and they disappear on the narrow screens of mobile devices. The quality of the transition depends on the image file sizes, the transition speed and type and the speed of the visitor's internet connection.
