What happens if I exceed the 2GB hosting limit?

If I opt for the Hosted version of Everweb and create a site for myself, can I then create and host another site for a friend? Will I be able to have 2 or more sites, as well as my friend's site hosted? Can my friend, or other friends also have more sites? I know it all depends on how large the sites are, but what happens when the size exceeds the 2GB limit? Is there a limit also to the number of sites hosted by Everweb on my account? Cheers, Brian |

You can have multiple sites on your account as long as they are within the 2GB limit. You will have to purchase more space if you go over the 2GB limit. However keep in mind that if you want to give your friends access to your own EverWeb account to publish sites they will have full access to your account including billing details. They should have their own accounts to keep things separate. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Thanks for the quick response Paul. You don't say how much extra space would be available, or what it would cost. I was thinking that If I designed a site or 2 for friends who don't do computers, would I be able to get the sites hosted with Rage, along with my own site(s), so long as everything is less than 2GB? My friends would have no access to my Everweb account as they are just not interested in this stuff but recognise the need for a good website. They'd just leave it all to me. Also, how much are we likely to pay for 2GB (or more) hosting in future years? I've seen the figure of about $49 for the standalone version, but nothing for the hosted version. Cheers, Brian |

Thanks Roddy - it's easy when you know where to look. That list doesn't however mention about the number of websites that can be hosted, so I'm glad I asked the questions. Cheers, Brian |
