Viewing Sub - submenus
Sub - submenus

How deep can sub-menus go? In designing this trial site, I have a top-level or parent page and a sub or child page. I then wish to add another page below this sub (child) page. This will make navigation 3 layers deep - Parent, Child & Grand Child pages - is this possible in Everweb and will the navigation widget respond to this arrangement? |

Right now you can go 1 directory deep. We will be adding support for more levels shortly.

Is there still a limitation on submenus? I noted this limitation when working with a trial version. | |

EverWeb can create a sub directory within a directory but the navigation - as yet - can't handle these. You can of course create you own navigation and this is very much less of a chore if you use a master page to do it. Once you get into three or more levels you really need to use breadcrumbs to prevent visitors from getting lost and these would need to be updated on every page. I am getting to the point where I need to decide whether to go with a custom three level menu on the Widgetbox site but I'm more inclined to go with sub sections rather than confuse visitors with more levels. A two level menu is good for about 150+ pages and I wouldn't recommend creating any more than this in one project file anyway. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
