"We've posted a new beta which lets you publish your site online if you have a hosting account with us. Just enter your client area username and password and sign in (click the Site name in the top left corner)." OK, I found this comment above in beta 3 release. I've entered my email address and password. It won't accept it. Rage has given me many passwords, but I'm using my initial account email and password. I'll keep looking, but if anyone can shorten my search I would appreciate it. I can log into my account using this email and password from my browser. Last edit 11 years ago |

I'm confused by the same thing. Neither the account username and password nor the c-panel login ones work with EasyWeb.

That's another confusing thing since the email address I use doesn't work either - unless it needs yet another password that I haven't created yet.

It happened to me the first time I tried to Log in but the "Wrong Password" disappeared on its own after a while and I was logged in...

I tried again, a warning about changed password comes, I click "ok" - it repeated about 3 times and then disappeared and I was logged in.

I tried that and it appears to log me in after three attempts but I still only have the option to publish to a folder.

Yelena, can you answer this for me? Where did your site get published to. Jeremy Clausner just emailed me and told me I could end up over writing my iWeb site they host. I definitely don't want to do that yet. I thought they had a place set up temporarily we could publish to see our progress. I'm glad I asked. | |

Well, I kind of went around the main site...:) I did a couple of things: I created a sub-domain - that creates a Folder in the main directory. Then I uploaded the files via Cyberduck - because I could not see the Sub-Domain via EasyWeb and since I didn't want to overwrite my IWeb site I uploaded that way. But the Log in in EasyWeb worked fine... ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

Let me clarify a few things; PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: We are continually testing and fixing things. So something that may not have worked yesterday, or even an hour ago, may have been changed on our end. The following is the MOST CURRENT details as of April 23 at 6:50 PM. Anything you tried previously may result in different behaviour now. 1) To publish you use the email and password you used when you signed up for web hosting. If you have forgotten this you can retrieve it here; http://billing.ragesw.com/clientarea.php 2) Your website is published to your domain name you have with us. If you do NOT want to overwrite your iWeb website just enter a site name in the SITE NAME field right below the drop down menu that has your domain in it. This will put your website in a subdirectory. Likewise if you have added a subdomain, you can add the subdomain here and easyweb will publish to that subdomain. If you do accidentally overwrite your iWeb site simply go back to iWeb and go the file menu and select 'Publish Entire Website' 3) If you get a message that says; "Email OR Password don't match" This means your email or password for your client area was incorrect. You can retrieve it again here; http://billing.ragesw.com/clientarea.php If the message says: "Your password for YOURDOMAIN.COM has changed, please enter your password for that domain." You probably changed your cPanel password. You will have to email us so we can reset it back for you. You won't be able to change your cPanel password in the future. This message, for the time being, is misleading. EasyWeb will reset your password automatically in a future version. Lastly if you got a message that says; "Could not get client data" Email us and we will get that fixed for you. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

If I get... "Your password for YOURDOMAIN.COM has changed, please enter your password for that domain." What info do you need from me to reset the password? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Hi Roddy, We don't need anything else HOWEVER because your account doesn't have a real domain associated with it we need to make a change within EasyWeb to support you. If you try and log in now you won't get any errors BUT you will get an error when you try and publish your site to EasyWeb. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I'll have to think of yet another appropriate domain name then - won't I?
