Master Page Usage

I love the master page option. As someone who has a site that uses the same "header and footer" on every page, this is helpful. The problem that I'm running into is that each page has a different amount of information so where I place the content for the top of the master page is always the same for every page but the bottom moves based on how much info I have for that particular page. The master page will not allow me to make that adjustment. Any suggestions?

Hi Cory, Pages that use Master Pages can be any height you want. Just add a shape, text or image to the content area. It will expand and increase its height as you drag the object down. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Sorry Paul, I must have been unclear. Image 1 is my master page. The white space is the space idea use to put content. Image 2 is the actual page where I've placed the master page template. The master page is jumbled all together with the contact of my page. The content is much longer than the white space on this particular page but not all. How do I get the bottom part of my master template to drop down at different heights with various pages?

Are your text objects set to 'Allow free dragging" under the Metric tab in the Inspector? If so, that should not be selected and it will push the content down properly.

Here is a screen shot of the bottom of my master page with metric tab open in the inspector. See anything I should change?
