We're pleased to announced the first beta version of EverWeb 1.3. This new beta brings a lot of new and powerful features. If you're looking for the current official release, please visit the EverWeb website.

Remember, this is beta software so it is not fully tested. Please let us know of any problems that arise while using this beta version

CHANGES
[NEW] FTP publishing. You can now publish directly to your web hosing provider with the Standalone version
[NEW] Password protection. EverWeb can now password protect any directory on your site with an unlimited number of username/password combinations. (NOTE: This only works with the EverWeb one-click publishing solution and won't work on third party web hosting providers)
[NEW] You can now specify a 404 not found page. This means if a visitor goes to a non-existing page on your site, you can specify a specific page that they will go too. This feature can be access from under the Publishing Setting Screen. (NOTE: This only works with the EverWeb one-click publishing solution and won't work on third party web hosting providers)
[NEW] 301 redirects. You can specify a URL that should forward to the corresponding page under the Page Settings in the Inspector. So if you had an old iWeb site you can specify that a specific page goes to your new EverWeb page incase a visitor tries to access your old iWeb site. (NOTE: This only works with the EverWeb one-click publishing solution and won't work on third party web hosting providers)
[NEW] Export text as picture. Text can be exported as pictures if you want to ensure a font or style always looks consistent. Its supports high-resolution images as well
[NEW] Help icons that link to video tutorials explaining what each feature does. If you find this videos useful, please press the LIKE button (the thumbs up button) at the top right corner.
[FIX] Faster and more efficient publishing to EverWeb one-click accounts
[FIX] Navigation bars from master templates that use sub pages now show up correctly and not behind other objects on the page within EverWeb

Gave it a try using FTP upload instead of Transmit from a folder. Got the progress bar, then the dialog informing me that EverWeb would proceed in the background. But my Network Monitor shows no activity whatsoever, site does not upload, no completion notice, nothing. Tried both entire site and changes. I'm on iPower. Then tried FTP with TLS etc. whatever that is. Just figured I'd give feedback from trying on iPower. Love the new Master pages.

Hi James,

Ca you email support along with a screenshot of your FTP settings entered into EverWeb?

You can take a screenshot by holding down the COMMAND and SHIFT keys on your keyboard and then pressing the number 3. An image file will appear on your desktop, please send that to me. If your email client asks, select the option to send the full size, or original image file.
