Thanks Yelena

I was asking that because I was attempting to upadte the program me from the app and it continues being version 1.1. I guess that I will be able to update this version 1.2 from the app.

I don't think it will update from the App until the 1.2 is officially released....

@Rachel L.: The content height can be adjusted by adding shapes to the content and dragging it downwards. That will resize the height of the content area. You currently cannot specify a content height explicitly, but you can adjust the height with shapes/objects.

I am not sure why you guys are having trouble with the download. Can you try another browser?

Also, this is a beta version of 1.2. When 1.2 is officially released you can use the update method within EverWeb.

I'm not having any problem with it. I downloaded this version when it was first announced and have been using with OS X 10.8.5.

After reading this topic I tried downloading it on another computer running Mavericks and that works fine too.

The only thing that I did different was to rename it with the version number like this - EverWeb-V1.2.app - since I have a couple of other versions on the go.

@Roddy: when I download the newest Beta it actually gets renamed automatically since I keep my other versions in the downloads folder... I have no problems with other versions but this one always fails to open - that happened on two different computers and different browsers. And since I am not the only person having this issue something must be wrong somewhere...:)

Try downloading it to the desktop and launch it from there.

"Everweb is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the trash." That's what I get. Shouldn't make a difference whether I'm running out of my downloads folder. I've run many of the other versions that way before copying them into Applications. It's busted, guys! I'm afraid to use it.

Hi all, I know this is an old post but I thought I'd update you. The problem is being caused by "Gatekeeper" in OS X. You need to go to System Preferences, Security & Privacy (Depending on the OS Version you're using) and in the "General" tab click the "Anywhere" radio button as per attached image. You need to enter your Admin password to make changes here by clicking the padlock at bottom left.
