EverWeb 1.2 Final Candidate is now available. If no pressing issues are found, this will be the final release.

EverWeb 1.2 Final Candidate

This version fixes issues with the footer section of a Master Template and certain browser and page background settings not working properly.

This is a message I get trying to open this latest downloaded version:
“EverWeb-3” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

For clarification,,, Have you just announced the end of the Everweb 'beta' program and have just announced the 'release version?

If that is correct, you have often said that you were working on a 'blog' addition to Everweb. What is your 'educated guess' on a timetable for a version that includes a blog feature.

I've been quietly working on a website which will include a blogging feature and would like to know if I should set one up outside of Everweb or wait for a release version of Everweb that includes a blogging feature?

@Yelena: Please try restarting your computer, deleting any previous downloads of this version, emptying your browser cache and try downloading again.

@dan y: The beta program ended months ago. There has been an official release out for a while. Each new version of EverWeb gets a new beta program to test the new features.

The blog feature is the next big feature we are working on. There is no time table, but with the Master Templates creating a blog is much easier to do. We will be creating a video tutorial for it shortly.

@Paul: no luck. I have deleted all versions, cleared cache, restarted - the same thing... (that happens on two computers) And when I try to download 1.2 Beta 6 the link takes me to EW website and I can only download Version 1....

I think the master template has been a good improvement. But still needs loads of minor touchups. One bug which was brought up, bothers me that it has not been fixed in the final version. Using the master template will render your page CONTENT HEIGHT fixed to that of the master template. This will be a problem if a particular page in a website needs to be longer (due to more content) than the rest.

Unless, RW is suggesting that consistency in content height of a website is recommended for some reason, then maybe I can try to live with this problem.

No change here either. I've trashed and deleted three times. I've done every thing you advised. No more until this is fixed.
