Find FTP Sever

User: Gwyn B. 10 years ago
I'm trying to have a digital PDF flip book added to my site. The designer needs the FTP server info to upload it. Where can I find that?

The one-click publishing doesn't support FTP. You should use the Assets list and add any relevant files to your Assets list.

What about 'Cpanel' details. The problem is, I don't know how to add all this to the assets list. It's a huge folder with like 30 different things in it. Here is the link to what I want to put on my site: http://cheapestweb.co.in/flipbook/summercamp/

There aren't cPanel details either unfortunately. Everything is done through EverWeb.

You can ask your designer to host the PDF files on a dropbox and link to the dropbox URL from EverWeb. That is one way to do this and it won't cost anything extra.

Something that was .rar UGH!

He sent me a whole file of stuff and I don't know what I actually need to get it into the website. He says he needs our FTP info or CPanel info but Paul says we don't have that. This guy insist that EVERY website has that.

You should be able to create the flip book in an HTML snippet. I would need to see inside the .rar file to help with this.

Most web designers are unfamiliar with one click publishing. If you can send me a copy of the file I'll have a look to see what can be done.

I expanded it and it's a folder full of this stuff. Image attached.

OK, I can see the problem. You would need to host this on a server due to the fact that the folder contains other folders.

If you were to drag all that lot into EW Assets you would break the code.

This is the main downside to using the EW server and why I don't use it myself for the everwebcodebox.com site as I explained HERE. I have way too many assets which need to be uploaded in folders rather than as files.
