Im having really bad luck with matching colors... If I use the color picker (websafe) they match great when viewed in EW, but when I preview in Safari or FF it's wrong! Steve ------------------------------- MacBook Pro 15in Retina 10.14.6 Nevada, U.S.A Apple since OS 7.1 LE II (pizza box) |

Where are you trying to select colors? Shapes, page backgrounds, text etc...?

Colors on the Web have to be converted from your Device color profile to sRGB color profile. Sometimes the colors are off a bit. However if we didn't do this, then colors would be off for people using different color profiles for their screen. This means by default all windows users, mobile users and people with external monitors would most likely have a different color profile. This is just the nature of the web (and color profiles). It is actually a very complex issue and you will see similar behaviour in iWeb, as well as all other web site builders. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
