| Shapes and photographs placed into text show up in a slightly different place when I preview pages in Safari and Firefox. How do I get them to display the same way they do in EverWeb? | |

Can you show some screenshots of what you are seeing in EverWeb and in your browsers?

| I think I've figured it out. The browser renders text (I'm mostly using Times New Roman) slightly larger than EverWeb. In a long block of text the bottom of the text moves down enough that it expands into/over a shape/photograph immediately below. I can fix it via trial and error but it's a nuisance. | |

Here's a screen shot with EverWeb on the left and the same page previewed in Safari on the right. As you can see there is quite a bit of difference. In the paragraph (37) it is clear that there are fewer letters in each line, pushing the text down. This is at the end of a fairly long text block and the cumulative difference is the empty space in the EverWeb page which is not there in Safari. Thanks for your quick response! |

Maybe you should try another font. This is a huge difference. I often notice the difference in how the text is displayed in different browsers but never that dramatic...

What version of EverWeb are you using?

| I'm using 1.1. Maybe I should try the latest version. I just don't want to start all over with what has been a labor intensive transfer from iWeb! I will download the latest version of EverWeb when I have the time to get back to working on this project. | |

| I just updated to 1.2 with the same results. Perhaps it's the font I'm using. I'll play around with it some more when I have time. | |
