Project fails to open

User: wellnl 12 years ago
Hi!

I have created a website which is now live. Unfortunately I cannot now open it in EW. It is listed on the projects pane, but on selecting it, the beach ball spins, then disappears and the project does not load. If I click on other projects they all load properly.

I have upgraded to EW 1.2 Beta which Paul just issued out on the forums. I have tried using a couple of back ups from a few days ago from Time Machine. And I have repaired permissions on my mac just in case there was a permissions problem/

I am running OS X 10.9.1. The only thing I can note is that I recently added PayPal buttons to one page on the project. This went fine and is working live (which is great, thanks!!)

Is there anything else I can do or should I send the project in to you?

Thanks

Simon

Does it work with version 1.1?

You should send the project file to us.

Hi Paul, it was working in 1,1 then failed to when I opened it this morning. I was looking on the forums to see if there was any answer and spotted 1.2 beta in the field so tried that as well... will forward you the project for you to look at. At the moment the site is live and not in any need updating or fixing. Thanks as always!

Thanks for your support Paul. The problem was with a corrupted preference file so I now have the project back. Thanks again for the great support and a great product! Now have some time off ;) Best, Simon

If you could send that preferences file to use we can see if we can fix the problem so it doesn't happen again.
