EverWeb 1.1 Beta 3 Available

User: Paul-RAGESW 10 years ago
We have posted a new beta for EverWeb (Version 1.1). Since this is a beta version, you cannot use the auto update feature in EverWeb.

You can have both versions installed on your computer and this will not overwrite any data on your site. Anything you do in this version can be used in the Final version.

If there aren't any issues reported with this beta version, it will be released as version 1.1.

EverWeb 1.1b3 Download

Changes since beta 2
- Fixed some objects being exported 1 pixel off alignment
- Can now rename project files (make sure they still have the .everweb extension though)

Full Changes for version 1.1
1.1
- Can now lock objects (Arrange ->Lock/Unlock)
- Can now add emails when using addon domains
- Can now group objects (Arrange -> Group/Ungroup)
- Entering an external link will auto add http:// if it doesn't exist
- Text shadows work when you use opacity settings on text
- Can no longer use File-> Open to open any file. Can only open EverWeb projects
- New media browser on Mac OS X 10.9 and later. Should fix related crashes
- Fixed drawing issues in headers of Inspector sections
- Fixed how browser background images are displayed when top margin is great than 0
- Fixed rare crashes when logging into EverWeb account
- Fixed some objects being exported 1 pixel off alignment

Hi Paul,

Does this mean that my "email form" does not work as it is today? I am hosting with my existing host.

No, this has nothing to do with your email forms. It relates to adding email addresses to your one-click publishing account through the EverWeb application only. It does not affect many people.

OK Thanks Paul,

I know this is the wrong place for it but though it wise to continue in the same string.

The reason that I asked was actually that when I test my contact form on my published page I don't get an email.

- I write a short text and "send" the message.
- The popup comes up and confirms the message has been send.
- I don't get an email.

what am I doing wrong?

Hi Lars,

I am not sure. It could be a problem with your web hosting provider or how you published your website. The contact form works fine on our one-click publishing solution and on the web hosts we have tested.

Unfortunately it is impossible for us to know how your server is configured. The one-click publishing solution is provided so that you don't have to worry about these issues.

I highly suggest you switch over to make sure these issues don't arise, or contact your web hosting provider as they may have further details.
