Viewing Everweb Stanalone

Everweb Stanalone

I already have a web site and very happy with my domain name provider. Is it possible to get the 'one click' version without a subscription? If not would I have to publish to a folder and then use an FTP client to upload my site to the web?

Thanks.

The one-click publishing is only for publishing to an EverWeb hosting account.

If you are using another web host, then yes, you would need to publish to a folder and then use an FTP client to upload the site to your server.

Jeremy,
I just purchased StandAlone version. There is no chance to unlock option to publish to HDD. The only option is: create account with EverWeb. I tried to login with my purchased email (data) with no success. I appreciate an assistance.
Thanks.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "no success". Do you get an error message? If so what does it say?

Solved.
I had to download v.1.1
Automatic sales workflow links to v.1.0 which crashed on logon attempt.
Thanks.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing Everweb as a replacement for my iweb site.

Few questions please before I go ahead and decide to buy..

Hosting - I have Hosting here in the Uk with 123 Reg which I have just re purchased for the year. It says that some of the features of the Everweb are not available if not purchased with your hosting, can you elaborate on this please? What features do not work correctly if I just buy the software standalone please?

Also, would it matter if my hosting is in US if mainly my audience and site viewers are Uk based visitors?

Best wishes,

paul

The EverWeb Codebox websites is not published to the Rage server for the reasons given HERE. I will have no hesitation in switching to Rage when these limitations are overcome.

It doesn't really matter where the site is hosted as long as the service is reliable and tech support speak the same language as you do!

There's no reason why you can't publish to your existing account until the term runs out and then switch if you find that you need features that require the EW hosting account. That's probably the most cost effective way given your situation.
