How do I download everweb? Will my easyweb desktop folder appear on it and behave any differently? Can I publsh it using a different name for my website so that I can check it and make addditions/corrections? If all is fine...how do I republish using the correct name...do I have to trash the original folder first? Thanks Lea |

Can I publlsh superpromostuff.com using a different name for it ...other than the one I an using for my website so that I can check it and make addditions/corrections before final publishing? If all is fine...how do I republish using the correct name...do I have to trash the original folder first? |

Did you follow the link Paul posted at all? There you can download EverWeb. A download link is provided there. I don't know what you mean with your EasyWeb desktop folder. After installing and starting EverWeb for the first time, everything is like before. I hope I'm putting this under the correct topic..as I still have several questions. 1…I have Google analytics and webmaster tools on my original website..will this automatically transfer over to my new site that was created in EverWeb without my having to re-install it? 2…E-mail address….I have my email address built into my header with a link to my address. I think it works…so should I also use your code the way it is indicated in the video. 3…Navigation …I did not use navigation option on iweb…I think I was told that since all my pages had links it would be faster not to use navigation. Is this the case in everweb? 4…Am I correct in not using sitemap automator until I publish my final website 5…When I publish the temporary site..will Google see all the same links that are on my original site….and because it's duplication possibly think it's black hat? 6…If I am happy with the temporary web site..I assume I just re-publish the finished site ..but how do I get rid of of the temporary one that I have published. This should cover me…Thanks for giving us this great software. I know I had a lot of questions, but once I got your responses it really was self evident. Thanks again. Lea |

EverWeb and EasyWeb are the same application just with a new name. Nothing you have done in EasyWeb will get deleted in EverWeb. 1. There is nothing to transfer. Your Google Analytics account and Webmaster tools account are attached to your website, not EasyWeb/EverWeb. You don't need to transfer anything it will just work. 2. I don't know what code you are referring too here. 3. I don't know what this is referring to either. The number of links on a website don't matter for navigation bars. You are most likely mistaken as to why you should NOT use the navigation bar in iWeb. You should use the navigation bar in EverWeb. 4. Yes 5. You don't have to worry about duplicate links since it is only a test site that Google won't see. 6. Okay..we're getting there... re #2...email address..I have my email address in the header with a link to the address.....On your video it tells how to insert email addresses ...should I be filling that out as as well as the link in the header superpromostuff.com ? there is a video for it..should I be doing it as well? re #3...re : Navigation Bars....since I never used them In Iweb ..it is new to me...Apple had told me I didn't need it as long as I had links to every page..so I don't know exactly what it does...if I need it..please tell me why... If I do need it ..I believe you have a video for it..but can you tell me if I have to put it on every page or can put it in the header or footer bar for all pages...? 2. I'm sorry I don't know what you are referring to here. What video are you talking about? What exactly do you want to do? 3. Navigation bars provide links to all pages on your site. Build your website that way you want to build it. If you want navigation bars on all your pages than put them on there. Otherwise don't. If you were a visitor of your webpage, would you want to have them? I'm trying to do email .....( although I do have a link on my page for sales @superpromostuff.com) I assume this should forward to my email address lkrit@aol.com....so for email address in your publishing window...should I be putting in my aol address? when I put in sales@superpromostuff.com sales@superpromostuff.com it doesn't work..should I delete it and change to aol address? I assume this will not appear on my website |

You cannot put your aol email in there. You can only put the email addresses associated with your domain sales@superpromostuff.com. FYI..I cannot post in Safari...This is Firefox sales@superpromostuff.com sales@superpromostuff.com I hit add...hit configure in Mail...it was accepted ..however when I check email online I get a 404 not found |
