Hi! After downloading the "EverWeb"-Update, I can't publish to a folder anymore... The "choose" - button for the directory is grey/unclickable and the publish button also... What now? Lars ------------------------------- Impossible you say? Everything is possible when you work for the circus. |

Open preferences and sign out of your account and then sign back in again. It is an annoying bug but that should work. You need to do it every time you open a new site or another existing one. | I'm having the same issue. Do you have a estimate on when the fix for this bug will be available? I have to update some images for our customers asap. | |

Have you tried signing out and back in to your account as mentioned above?

@derekgtbaby: This is NOT the same issue. I'll need you to send me your website project file then so I can take a look. In the Projects window in EverWeb, right click on your website and select the 'Show On Disk' option. Please compress the project file before sending it to me by right clicking on it and selecting Compress. You can upload it at http://ge.tt or http://www.dropbox.com and send the link to support: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I've tried the sign out/back in again remedy, and it looks like EW is publishing my contents, but where is it saving them?? I'm not given an option. So I would assume it's saving to the destination folder I was using before. But no... those files are not being overwritten. I've tried publishing site changes as well as entire site. I've closed EW and reopened. I've looked for my files to see if they're elsewhere? What should I do??

Okay, got it. I had to sign out, then sign back in, for the Choose folder panel to be active. But now chosen, I've published and it looks like it worked. Thanks Incidentally, when I clicked refresh to read your response, it reposted my last post – even though I wasn't on the posting page, just the thread... I downloaded last version from your everweb site today, logged in and did a Publish after doing a small change (was expecting the app to publish to a folder since I do not have a domain at ever web). But it published into the fresh air ;) I tried to log out, checking for a folder option, logging in again but still nothing. Looking for some nice answers :) Please help. ------------------------------- .frode http://dusano.no |

I just did the same and it worked fine. After logging out, then back in, don't you see this on your "site publishings settings" page. For me, it even remembered the correct path to my desktop folder:

Hopefully this screenshot will help. It's the very first folder on the left column in the app itself named after your saved file. Before you started adding Directories and pages...

Hopefully this screenshot will help. It's the first Folder on the left panel bearing the name of your EW file.
