Publishing Question

User: Guest 10 years ago
Hi,

Is there a way to mark a page or to create a pages folder so that when the site is published, these pages or folders are not published with it? It would allow me to create some pages in advance, and publish it only when the time is right.

No, that feature is not yet available.

To accomplish this you can just create your page and remove it from the navigation menu until you are ready to make it live.

Do you mean that pages that are not in the navigation menu won't be published? I thought the Include Page In Navigation Menu option was only for editing the Navigation Menu Widget.

Sorry for the confusion.

They will publish, they just won't be viewable by anyone because they won't be linked from any pages.

Are you sure you published to the server and not to a folder?

There are no files on your server. In addition it looked like you changed your FTP password which would mean EasyWeb couldn't have published to your server anyways.

Login again through EasyWeb and make sure you select EasyWeb next to the Publish To drop down menu.

Yes I published to easyweb. I never changed my FTP server password unless it auto changed it when I changed the original Cpanel login password.

I double checked my login info was the same as my original email I haven't changed anything. (I wouldn't know how) I Just build generic test site. Put login info in and clicked publish. To easyweb was filled in.

Your FTP password will be changed if you change your cPanel password. Please don't change it. We will provide a way to do it from within EasyWeb. We will be phasing out cPanel for an easier to use control panel.

Please publish your website again as it doesn't appear to be published.
