Alignement of Image Gallery widget

| It seems to only align the photos to the left... is there a way to align them to the right or center? | |

| Also, any time I try to make an adjustment - Thumbnail size, Spacing, etc. I can't view it in real time and just get a spinning beach ball. With around 30 pics in the gallery. | |

As to your second point, I too found it difficult to make changes to the gallery, especially thumb sizes. You would drag the number to 148 and have to wait a beat for the sizing to follow, then sometimes it would jump over to 142 or something. Trying to be precise, setting to 150, was quite tricky. Would be a lot easier if we could just enter a numerical value. As to the spinning beach, the question will surely arise: how big are your image file sizes? Mine were around 200 kbs each and I didn't encounter that problem. ------------------------------- rMBP 15", 2.6 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, OS X 10.11.6, with 27" Thunderbolt Cinema Display www.cleetche.com |

Even if you convert to low resolution your images can still be a few megabytes each. @Fighter88: Your images were 1 - 5MB each with some as big as 40MB. We will see about improving this in the future. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Is it possible to throw up some kind of a warning when image file sizes are ridiculously large?

There are a couple possibilities and optimizations we could do. We'll focus more on this in the coming weeks.

It would seem to be a better idea to give a warning so that users could heed it or not rather than force an optimization on those who actually know what they are doing.

I don't think too many people are going to wait around for all the images to download on this site... http://www.jumparoundtheworld.com I wouldn't even wait for the second row to load. Remember that Google punishes slow downloading pages and this one is like a snail! ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I don't think it's to bad, and my site is for family friends and people i meet on the road.. So don't care about google people i know already have my site name.. I just don't think it's very easy if you can't add 40+ images at high res.. It would be easy(web) if you could use and add the images you won't to the widget without the need of lightbox or shadowbox html stuff... |

Going the shadowbox route requires a lot of copy and paste coding, plus creating thumbs for every photo. But... until EW gives us customization over the widget, and allows photos to be used at actual size, it may be the necessary route for some of us. ------------------------------- rMBP 15", 2.6 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, OS X 10.11.6, with 27" Thunderbolt Cinema Display www.cleetche.com |

| Just to be clear it wasn't just the spinning beach ball issue I was having... I could not ALIGN the photos in any which way beside the default LEFT alignment. I wanted to center the gallery (technically the photos in the gallery). | |
