| I'm finally ready to switch from IWeb to EasyWeb. I have paid Rage for hosting but have remained on YourSite until I was ready. What process do I go through to switch? | |

This tutorial will show you what to do; http://ragesoftware.net/how-to-publish-a-site.html |

What do I do about Your-Site. Do I need to cancel with them before I publish through Rage? WIll it just override that site and they will know? Sorry I'm lost at this area. I don't want my site to have down time, or if so minimal. Thanks, debi |

Hi Debi, Publish to EasyWeb first. Then make sure your domain name points to your EasyWeb site by visiting it in your browser. If it doesn't it means you need to change your nameservers with your current domain registrar. Domain name servers tell a domain what server to point too. They are two simple lines of text and you should see a field in your account to enter them. Delete all name servers you see in your account and change them to the ones we sent you in the New Account Information email. After a few hours your domain will start to point to our server. Please allow up to 24 hours for your name servers to completely change online. Let me know if you have anymore questions. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
