1) It would be great to have not only Top Margin but also Bottom - that way it is possible to see what the end of the page looks like ( in IWeb it is called Top and Bottom Padding) 2) A great feature in IWeb was when formatting links was being able to apply it to new links on the page. Very helpful. I realize in EW we can choose default styles but that is different when applying that to content rather then Nav Bar for instance. Also it seems to not function fully yet - or am I wrong? ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

[1] Set the top margin to 0 in EasyWeb and add this to the site wide Head Code box...<style type="text/css">Change the value 20px to whatever you want. [2] On most websites, link styles are set for the whole site in the master stylesheet. That's the purpose of the "Set Default Styles" button. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thanks Roddy, helpful as always! [quote:judh3qnp][2] On most websites, link styles are set for the whole site in the master stylesheet. That's the purpose of the "Set Default Styles" button.[/quote:judh3qnp] Yes, I understand that but let's say I want all my links to be the same color and I set that up in default styles. Then I was a group of links somewhere on the page to be different - it would be great if those could be set up as a group rather than each one individually. ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

You can set the Default link styles and all new links will use it. The underline option though is not yet implemented. Only the colors will apply.

[quote:146tdt4t][1] Set the top margin to 0 in EasyWeb and add this to the site wide Head Code box... CODE: SELECT ALL <style type="text/css"> body {padding: 20px 0} </style"> Change the value 20px to whatever you want.[/quote:146tdt4t] Roddy, seemed like a good advice but doing it made all content disappear from the page (when published)...:) ------------------------------- Yelena MacBook Pro OS X 10.10.3 IMac 21" OS X 10.10.3 |

That's what I get for not testing it in EasyWeb! I'll have a look at it when I get back to my Mac.

I see what the problem is. For some reason I put a double quote in the code. Try this... <style type="text/css">

Roddy, that works. But not for my purpose. I need to see the bottom margin WHILE in EasyWeb. I need to place something below the page bottom ( don't ask...:), I have my reasons... <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> The problem is I can't see below the Footer so I have to sort of go around in order to place the text properly. It looks fine in the browser but I can't see it in EW. This is why it would be great to have that option in the Inspector.

I guess it's been taken out until it's implemented properly.

Speaking of the Default Styles menu it would be nice if we (I) can add the colour values by typing the hex code too.
