Sorry for making another post, but i am just having some bugs with this app. After i did some changes in easy web i was trying to publish it using the publish button as i normally do.. And this is the first time i am having problems with it.. It is simpel stuck, don't know if it's something with beta 25 but just wonna let you know because this is my 2 crash/stuck today.. by the way can't quit the program so i will leave it there for another 30min and after that i guess i will try to reboot my mac for the first time ever because of crash.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWGQqW-2y38 |

I have just sent you an email with a link to dropbox.. It just happend again today, but this time it just shut down easyweb when i was publishing and a message from apple came up where i can send report to them.. that happend 2 times, and the next 3 times i tried it is just stuck at publish like in the video.. Yesterday i managed to get it published but today nothing is working so far.. Maybe my site is to big for easyweb to handle? Hey fighter, you said it published before but now you are having problems? When did it start hanging? Did you add anything to EW before this happened? In your video, I see it's stuck on your African film page. What do you have on that page? It's not a giant QT file is it? Does it always get stuck at the same point? How much RAM do you have on your computer? Are you running any other programs while trying to publish? You could try monitoring your memory with Activity Monitor if you dare to publish again. If your account's with EW then I think you're publishing the only way you can. If you have another hosting company, you could just delete your publish to folder files - trash them from your computer - then do it again: publish entire site to folder. Yeah i have been publishing without any problems the last few weeks, but from last night and to now i just can't publish anything.. Yesterday i got two errors when publishing that's the one i filmed here, but then it worked fine.. Then today i added like 10 more photo's to my Australien Photo page (all low res) and i changed the button where it says copyright travelwithsimon.org that's it.. The african film page is just empty there is nothing on it besides a text saying Africa, i am not using that side that's for my next trip.. but it get's stuck at random points, last time i tried the app just closed and i got a very long error report you know the apple one where you can click send it.. I can post it here but it is a pretty long error report.. I got 8gb of ram and i am using my macbook pro, i am not running anything else or i was running safari but the last time i closed everything and nothing works.. by the way my project file is 290mb don't know if that's alot?.. |

| Now i did just try it again with the activity monitor and a few sec after i click publish it says easyweb not answering there is alot of ram and cpu left.. if i just let it stay for some time the easyweb app will then look normal again, but then it comes to African film the same as in the video i postet but this time the app closes.. the funny thing is that african film is just a duplicate of the one name gronland and all that is in the page is a youtube movie.. | |

Hmm. Well hopefully this will give Paul some more info to work on and he can solve this case! In the meantime, why don't you try publishing to a folder anyway. Even if you don't have another hosting company, if it works, you can click on the index.html file it produces and see your site. | The public to folder is not working either.. This time the entire easyweb app is just freazing and shuts down.. This is just weird, it might just be a little change i did that is freaking the app out.. It startet yesterday while i was adding big squares to the background.. But it managed to publish after i used force quit.. | |

I have been working with your website all day. One of the main problems is that you have many huge image files on your site. One is 40MB but most are 1-4MB. EasyWeb is running out of memory when publishing. On all of you pages you also have 3 very large images as the background. However, 2 of them are being covered up by the third, front most image. The pages with image galleries are the main causes of the crashes though. When you added your images to EasyWeb did you get the High Resolution warning? the pictures you are talking about is the in the picture gallery ? Because all of the photos in the gallery is low res, or i know they are original high quality because of dslr but i did click the low res option, and they do look low res when i look at my weppage online.. Or is the pictures you are ref to the ones i use to the design? i got them from my old iweb page, and i just clicked copy and paste there was no warning for high res there.. i know there is 3 images, and i might be able to remove 1 of them but together they make the look of 1 image.. You saying it's the pages with gallery that are the main reasons for he crash, is that because i am using the gallery wrong ? i did click import as low res.. i don't think i have alot of pictures on that site just yet.. i was hoping to have alot more.. |

Hi Simon, Ignore my last reply. I spent a long time with your website and discovered a bug with EasyWeb. Working on fixing it for the next version but so far your website is publishing properly for me without any crashes here. So far thanks for the help this is great :) So you did not get any crash at all?? i have not been able to publish anything using publish button or to a folder.. Maybe i should try to do a new install of easyweb or would it be better just to wait for the next beta version ? |

Sounds great thanks for the help :) I am planning to add some more photo's not to the same gallery but to a diffrent one, as you might have noticed i do have 2 pages that are already ready for photo's Africa and Thailand/Laos that's not going to give a probem ? or is there another way to use the image gallery ? |

I have been having a lot of crashes and restarts..put it down to beta, but now new problem.....I've published a page to my desktop folder ..it looks fine there..but when easy web crashed the page disappeared from easy web even though it is still in my desk top folder. I don't want to re-publish and lose an hours work...is there any way to retrieve it? Also another annoying problem but is I cannot edit anything I've already published to my folder..I have to erase ..copy and paste instead of having the ability to edit right there. Thanks |
