I'm still having problems with hyperlinks in Beta 24. The styles quite often don't work the first time round and it takes a second attempt to get it right. This has been a continual problem throughout the development of the app. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Can you list some exact steps to reproduce this so I can try this here?

It is not the steps involved that are causing it but something to do with the first hyperlink in a newly created text box. I've seen it mentioned frequently by others too. I only create text boxes occasionally because I normally copy and paste existing ones on other pages to save all that CSS being created. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I just created a text object and selected some text and set it to a hyperlink. Then I changed the color of the hyperlink. It worked OK. Please tell me exactly what you are doing to see this issue so I can try and reproduce it here. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Every time this happens to me I fix it by going through all the steps again and it works. I then try to replicate it and can't. That's what is so annoying about it. It just pops up out of the blue. Select text Open Link inspector Enable as hyperlink Select Link to destination Select page name or enter file path Choose formatting ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Link color, rollover color, "visited" color same as "normal" color and deselecting the U.

I am having the same problem. Have only been using EW for a week, so am still pretty new to it. However, I am finding all the features to work great except for the hyperlinks. As others here have mentioned, I have to recreate the hyperlinks several times before they actually "retain" the formatting I specify (color, underline or not etc.). But even still, when I scroll over them they do not link to my pages as they should. In other words, they don't "act" as hyperlinks. Why is this? Am I missing something? Naomi |
