I am having the same trouble with the darkened browser background. Also, the text shadow doesn't still doesn't show up with Beta 22.

We are aware of this issue and are working on it. The accent characters "fix" we put in the last beta required a big change so we had been focusing on that for beta 23.

The text issue is just that the text looks sharper in your web browser. To be honest, I don't see much of a difference, especially with the latest beta.

Good to hear. Every time a new beta comes out, it's like Christmas. The browser/page/shapes colour issue is far more important to me.

I agree that the text does look better online than it does in EW, but it does alter somewhat. It's not just sharper, in my opinion. But if it is what it is, that's easy enough to compensate for.

Thanks for the peace of mind.

The issue is still persistent. Be it in Safari, Firefox, Chrome or Opera. It looks the same in all browsers:

EasyWeb left, published page (Chrome in this case) right. Don't tell me you notice no difference.
