Re: the thread "All pages marked red as changed" I am pleased to see the prediction that this bug will be fixed in the near future and I simply want to add to the above comments that this bug is annoying me also! The time taken to upload my 80MB site is about 75 minutes. The site will grow as I find the time to about 95MB and the waste of time waiting for periodic total uploads will grow. Despite small changes I cannot get only changed pages to upload - all the page-tree goes red even if one or two start off as white. Changes to Master pages obviously would increase upload time but to make a text or button change to only two pages within the same Master page format should not cause every page in every Master set to go red. Also changes to a stand-alone page has an intermittent red vs white problem as part of the total problem. Some time in the future, as stated in some of the posts, I will also need to publish to a temporary local folder and use FileZilla to upload to another server. In establishing and maintaining a website this is a VIP bug that needs a fast fix. EW is tremendous software and I would recommend it to anyone - except for this annoying bug. Paul - if this will help I use: RAGE Hosting internal EW FTP to minimise upload problems and time, EW v1.5 Build 1267 (same bug also in v1.4) , iMac OSX v10.6.8 with 3.6 GHz Intel core i5. |

If I understand you correctly you are saying that a change to a master page is setting any page that uses that master page to red. This would be the correct behavior since the pages that use that master page need to be recreated. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Paul, Another wasted 50 minutes of my life as the whole website uploads for only 2 small images and a changed text hyperlink. Please can you give us a time-scale for the 'fix' for this, can it not be done without the whole 1.6 update? I have a sneaking suspicion that once we get 1.6 the issue will persist - are you guys confident that you know what is causing it? | |

| Any news yet? Is 1.6 actually released? Using the 'check for upgrades' in the file menu it says that my version (1.5) is the latest. - I just took another 45 minutes re-uploading the entire site in order to change a single image. Just downloaded 1.6 (thanks Roddy) and changed one link on a non-menued page, clicked publish site changes, every page directory icon went red, then it started to publish (to the ftp server) the entire site. I really just wanted to publish the link change and that's all. I'm using OSX 10.9.4. For me, it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks.

You need to publish the whole site the first time you use the new version. After that you should be able to publish just the changes.
