Reconnecting Assets (like in FCP)

You didn't leave the ge.tt URL so I can download it.

You can also submit the url to Support, but you should just post it here, you don't need to send it to two places.

First of all, I want to complain about the formum throwing me off and requiring me to sign in after a few minutes. I had written this post submitted it and it vanishes and I am told I have to log in again. Can you not keep us logged in for at least 24 hours, not just a few minutes? Now I have to rewrite this completely over again.

Now: new problems:
(1) Arrange objects. Send to back does not stick. I placed an image into the header of a page. There is a master element of text from a master page in that header. The image goes in front of it. Now I send the image to the back. It appears to work, my text appears. However, when I move to another page, and then come back to this page, the image is back in front of the text again and I cant see the text. Am I doing something wrong? The send to back should stick, should it not? I saved the project, this had no effect. I cannot get my master text block to stay in front of my image.

2) There seems to be no way to selectively remove master elements from pages if you won't want all the master elements on that particular page. Is this a "feature" or a "bug"? In any case, one does not necessarily want all the master elements on each page.

Hi Jock,

The Master Pages are working correctly and everything IS being carried over. The reason you don't see it is because you placed a large white square shape in your header which is covering all your Master Page elements. If you delete that you will see all your Master Page elements on all pages.

We are looking into the being sign out issue.

As for your other problems.

1) This is a bug that we have to fix. You shouldn't be able to move objects behind master template objects on a page.

2) This is how it is supposed to work. All elements of a Master Page must be on all pages that the Master is assigned to.

Hey Jock, you should start new threads for all these problems, no? If others have similar issues, they won't be able to comment unless they stumble upon it here.
