I can't get it to work. I copied the file titled retina-1.1.0.min.js into a folder on my ftp, copied the link and pasted the following in the site wide footer: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://cleetche.com/scripts/retina-1.1.0.min.js"></script> My photos are also on the ftp, labeled as such: And they're shown on this link, using shadowbox: http://cleetche.com/documentaries/beach ... hotos.html Like Roddy, I added text to my first image of the beach "retina@2x" just to make sure. It's not bloody working! What did I do wrong? I also tried adding the script to the footer code of the gallery page, deleting from the site wide footer code. Same thing. And I tried the other javascript, not the .min one. ------------------------------- rMBP 15", 2.6 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, OS X 10.11.6, with 27" Thunderbolt Cinema Display www.cleetche.com |

For retina.js to work the images need to be enclosed in an img tag. In shadowbox, the thumbs are in the <img> and the full size images are in an anchor tag. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! But neither are working. Are you saying my thumbs should work but my full size images won't?

If this is the case, I can use thumbs that are twice the size and size them to half in the html, which I've already done with another gallery. Can I do similar with the large pics? Can I set a maximum width say of 960 and then just use 1080 wide pics? I'd love to be able to retinify my galleries...

Doubling the size of the thumbs is just making the page load slower. Your full size images are good quality. Why do you need them better?
