1.) If I make a minor change to my EasyWeb site, to reflect that change do I merely publish the entire site again? 2.) If for any reason I want my site to no longer appear on the net-either temporarily or permanently-what's the best way to make this happen? |

[1] Select "Publish Site Changes" from the File menu. [2] It depends on where you publish your site and whether you want it to disappear temporarily or permanently. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! (1.) Thank you... I confess I'd only looked below and hadn't checked out that option in the File menu yet... (2) If I publish my site using Rage, how do I go about handling (a.) temporary disappearance? b.) permanent disappearance (God forbid!) |

| Permanent and temporary disappearance refer to the first two posts-in other words what steps do I take if one day I want the site to no longer appear on the web for say, a week or two-or, if at some point I want to take down the site permanently? | |

For a temporary suspension you could publish a page with a notice saying that the website is closed and for how long. Then redirect visitors to this page by adding this to the site wide Head Code box... <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url= http://www.domain-name.com/page-name.html" />To shut down your website, close your hosting account - or don't pay the renewal fee. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
