I have been looking for a way to add Google Ads in EasyWeb. Can this be done with the html snippet? That doesn't work in iWeb but maybe it works here. Chris H

Google adsense should work with an HTML Snippet.

The GoogleAds widget in iWeb hasn't worked since MobileMe shut down so it's a question of getting the code from Goole and pasting it into an HTML Snippet.

GoogleAds can be inserted into EasyWeb exactly the same way.

Thank you both. I have tested using the html snippet widget to insert Google Adsense code and it works just fine. Chris H

I have been using Google ads, but they do not show up in Everweb reliably to layout the page. Sometimes there is a visual of the ad shape, but it usually disappears. Is there a way to make the Google ad, using the HTML Snippet Widget show up all the time?

Raymond, can you provide a url to the site?
Does this happen only to you? What browsers are you using? Do you have any browser extensions that block anything?

Jim, the problem is when I am laying out the page in EverWeb. I cannot see where the Google Ad is so that I can make sure my layout doesn't overlap or have too much room. Now I have to upload it to the web, use a browser to see if the spacing is good. I'm thinking it should be visible in Everweb so I know its ok before I upload. It is very, very annoying!

You are correct, it does not show in layout. I may be wrong, but I believe it is due to being fed by java, and you need to be connected to the service. Something I did as a workaround was to place shapes where I was going to place ads later. That way I could get the layout correct and then add the html snippet with the ad where the shape was.
