Would be really helpful to be able to (select multiple) assets in the list to be deleted...

One of the reasons this will happen is because your image file name has a ' in it. Make sure your image file names only have letters and numbers in their name. Without seeing a page that has this problem though I cannot know for sure why this is.

Good tip, but not the problem in my case. The photo on my homepage was working just fine, then I tried replacing it with another one that I slightly resized. I published and it doesn't show up. I reset Safari, emptying the cache, everything, tried again - same thing. I deleted the asset, actually changed it again and reimported. It's there in EW, but not when published. Pics follow:

4. Oh, and for some reason now, one of my navi bars has padding - lots of it. I'll have delete and copy over one that didn't change.

I don't think this would happen spontaneously. If you can reproduce it please let me know.

So it went from having lots of padding, vertically - if padding's the right word - to having none, the rows of words touching one another. Here's some screen shots:

An update: I double-clicked on the index.html file in my 'publish to folder' folder. The jpg image on my homepage is there! So I opened Chrome, went to my website, and just like Safari - it's still missing. Just a big empty space. Does that help identify the problem?

The navi bar is still screwed up though, both on the index.html and both internet browsers.

It might be a good idea, to shrink your screenshots a bit, so they are better visible in the forum. I can only speak for myself, but I stop looking at screenshots when I have to scroll horizontally and vertically to see the full picture. Hence, I stop reading the posts. But hey, that's just me...

I don't like scrolling through the pictures either, but even if I shrink it down, it's still not going to fit in this horizontal viewing panel. Would be better if we could just click to open attachment or something.

But anyhoo, my problems persist. Each time I make changes, I get different results. My homepage picture is still missing. My navi bar seems to be fixed (I copied and replaced on each page though). But text is now showing up black, unreadable on my background. Either that, or it's missing altogether. And one of my hypertext links is purple when it should be sky blue (using websafe colours). Paul, if you need me to, I'll zip and send you my project file. Anything to help you guys zap the bugs!

The navigation looks fine to me in Safari.

On your home page, this image is not found...

Yeah, I fixed the navigation by copying and pasting one that worked. But trust me, it screwed up twice without me even touching it.

As for the image, it shouldn't have the -0 at the end. Just TV_Cleetche.jpg. This is how it's titled in the assets.

The image that I referenced is the one that is in the page HTML.

I had this problem with an image. I had to delete it from Assets and then drag it in again.

Having said that, I was using it in a Snippet rather than just dragging it onto the page - if that makes any difference.

Yeah, I tried that. I deleted the asset. Then brought in a new one with a different name (same, but slightly tweaked). Wouldn't publish. I deleted from EW and tried again. Same result.

These sorts of things were happening to me in a previous beta, and usually the more I worked on the page, it eventually fixed itself. So every time I publish, fingers are crossed.

With the image I had a problem with, EasyWeb appended a hyphen with no number for some reason best known to itself.

I used the old iWeb trick of deleting, save quit, relaunch and then add the asset again.

Okay this isn't funny anymore. I just tried what you suggested Roddy to no avail. I deleted the assets, saved, quit, relaunched EW, reimported the assets, put them on the page, saved, published site changes, opened Safari, opened Chrome - no picture. I've also reset Safari numerous times now, as well as emptying the cache/history in Chrome, and trying all over. Additionally, I've trashed all my published contents, and republished entire site, and tried that. Not only do I have missing pictures, but I have old images showing up that I have since deleted, such as a mail icon; I have text, text boxes and images missing entirely from one page; I have a horizontal line that's shorter than it should be; I have hyperlinked text showing the wrong colours, text boxes bigger than they should be, CSS code on a movie playlist page that hasn't updated to change inset shadows... in fact, it's beginning to look like EW is frozen in time, because this could've been where I was at this morning. Could that be a clue??

Mind you, that doesn't explain the troubles I've been having day in and day out lately. Beta 19 has turned out to be just as problematic as Beta 18, least for me. It's crashed on me twice now and I've sent the reports.

Please provide a link to this forum post when sending in your website project as reference

I'll need you to send me your website project file then so I can take a look. Send it to https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php

In the Finder go to the Go menu and select 'Go To Folder'

Then enter this in the dialog that opens up

~/Library/Application Support/EasyWeb/

Send me the files in that folder. Please compress them before sending it to me by right clicking on them and selecting Compress. If the file is too big, you can upload it at http://ge.tt and send the link to me.
