Details Page that slides over top current page

I'm looking for a way to create a way to click a link that will have a 1/4 to 1/2 width page that slides over top of the current page, with an "x" to have it slide away again, without disturbing the current page. I would need the slide over section to have text and photos. The only way I can describe it would be that of clicking the hamburger icon and having a navigation page slide over top of the current page.

I found something similar on a Subaru website on the build page, I'll include a link to it below...once you choose a model, the next page is the "trim" page. Clicking on the "+view all base features" brings up the page that slides over. I'll also include a screenshot of the feature on desktop view. On mobile it covers the entire page.

I do have a few slide out sidebars with this type of function.

I am developing some eCommerce widgets which will allow EverWeb users create a much more professional looking website for selling products and services.
These include some components that can be combined in different ways to display offscreen content - text, images, specifications, video etc. This method is a lot more efficient than using a single slide panel and should function a lot better on mobile devices.

Some of these I developed for a commercial website as code but of course they had to be modified to work within the limitations of EverWeb.
I will send you a demo and some widgets to try so that you can suggest any other features that could work with this component system.

Thanks Roddy...as always, much appreciated! I would love to see some cart drawers that work with Ecwid, as well as some footer or header bars that show the running total when adding items to the cart, that maybe have some other options as well. I can email you with more details.

I wrote the code for the client site a few months ago and have sporadically been converting items to EverWeb widgets - there are about 70 widgets so far.
There are lots of different add to cart & show cart items. The ECWID cart with total has two widgets - one for inserting it in a the header and another for inserting it in a fixed position anywhere one the page - much like my original eCom widgets.

I am just working out the best way to show a slide over like the example you posted but better - I hope!

I will try to get the demo sites up soon so that you can see what is availble so far and what else you need.
