Is there any possible way to add videos from other video sites like bit chute, brighten to blog pages in Everweb. The widget for adding videos on blog pages seems to only accept tube and Vimeo not the two mentioned. With many alternate video streaming sites available it would be nice to be able to include those as well.

I must be missing something obvious, but I've been unable to link to videos from a blog post. I can't insert a widget inside a post & the various forms of YouTube links (embeds, tinyurl, etc.) just preview or publish as code. This thread indicates I'm screwing the pooch somehow, but I can't figure it out with the EW blog tools. Do I need to build a blog page for videos using just 3rd-party widgets? Posting here, because I'm assuming the problem is something I'm doing & not a application bug. Thanks for any help. |

Oops. My bad. I just accidentally figured it out. I'd been trying to drag the widget into the blog post window without success, but I just dropped a widget into the preview window. I think I should be good to go on this. Update: I did not figure it out, after all. My video did not end up in the blog post but on the blog master page. I keep expecting to discover some simple solution I’m missing, but so far I’m stumped. Last edit 3 years ago |
