All of a sudden, my mobile site that has been publishing for over a year, today decides to publish the regular site. I've tried all kinds of things to get this to publish the actual mobile site but no luck. I've sent a ticket to EW folks as high priority but haven't heard anything. I if I type in mobile at the end of the address it works but yeah...not going to ask my customers to do this. Ugh. Anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this? Thanks Jen |

Hi, Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. I see you have now received a response from customer support. But to add to what you received, based on the information you provided and by visiting your website, it doesn't look like you actually selected a mobile page for your main page. This video explains n more detail how to forward your desktop page to the mobile optimized page. If you still have problems, please specify the exact page you are having issues with. I also recommend that you keep this conversation with the support representative so that you can get all the appropriate information in one place and to avoid any confusion. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Thanks, Paul but I've watched your video many times yesterday before I sent in the ticket to EW and today after Wayne suggested it to me...I have done what it says to do as it applies to my site. I created the mobile site over a year ago and it has been working until yesterday as it was created. No changes on my end have been made. I used EWs blank template for mobile to create the master pages and have based every single page on the mobile pages of my project on those mobile master pages. Pointing me back to a video that doesn't apply to me (because I am not going to point my mobile home page to my regular home page because the info is not identical and I have never done that in the past. So how do I fix it? Just tried to send you a jpeg but the image link above asks for a URL, not a file I can send from my computer. |

Paul, I just sent you an email with a screenshot and a bit more info. Please respond. This has been going on for over a day and I have no resolution. Thank you Jen |

Hi Jen, You can attach any file here by clicking the Advanced button and attaching an image to your post right next to the 'Post Reply' button. The step you are missing is that you need to select your main page and go to Inspector->Page Settings and go to the Mobile Settings section as you highlighted in the image you sent in. Then select the mobile page you want to appear for this page. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Thanks, Paul. It works. When I watched the video the first 5 or so times, I assumed that the instruction was how to create the mobile web page as an automatic replication of the regular web page (Home large page to be condensed to mobile Home page, for example.) With that assumption, I thought the redirects were tied to ONLY those types of pages, whereas all of my mobile pages were created from scratch. My apologies for being so dense and so forceful with you in my frustration over the situation. I am not a code person. I am a drag and drop, more of the "designer" type who is trying to help others with their sites. I appreciate your patience. | |
