Although the Icons and Social Media widget packs provide access to almost 1000 icons and various ways to insert them, there’s always a need for more. The relatively new Nucleo app in the freeware version gives access to many icons - including all the Google material icons. These can be edited and exported as SVG and PNG. SVG icons have the advantage of allowing their size to be increased without increasing the file size. Replacing all the PNGs on a website with SVGs will allow it to download much faster. Another advantage of SVG is that there is no need to include 1x and 2x versions of the file as is required with PNGs.
