RuntimeException when Previewing Project in Any Browser

Upgraded to EW 2.5.0 Build: 1842

When previewing a project in any browser, the browser becomes unresponsive and EW hangs.

Previewing my site with Chrome.

1- Start EW
2- In the Projects window, double-click a project from the Recent Projects pane
3- After the project opens, click preview in the menu bar
4- Choose to preview in Chrome
5- Chrome loads project
6- In Chrome, click the refresh button or click any page link in project nav-bar
7- Chrome does not load the page
8- Close Chrome
9- Switch to EW
10- EW is hung


Error Type: RuntimeException

I tried to send the report through the automatic collection mechanism in EW but it would never send. Attached is the stack dump.

Hi,

Sorry for the problems you are experiencing.

If you quit both Chrome and EverWeb and restart them both does it start to work again?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for replying. I did exactly what you asked followed by a restart of my iMac and hit the same issue. I tried 4 browsers and had the same problem in each. (Safari 9.1.3, Chrome 61.0.3163.100, Firefox 56.0, and Opera 48.0.2685.35)

I tested the same scenario with EW 2.4 to verify if the issue was reproducible in that version and found it was not.
