Please send us the crash report. We can't fix it if we don't have that information.

Also what do you mean by server folder?

Paul,

I had several crushes yesterday while trying to publish to a local folder. I sent you a crush report via email...

Its possible to test your website by publishing to a local folder and launching it in your default browser by double clicking the index.html file. This is not a particularly good way of doing it since you need to publish to a web server.

Under Mountain Lion we can no longer turn on Web Sharing from System preferences although you can fix this by downloading this little app.

Chances are you'll have to go into Terminal to setup the server and you may not think that's sensible!

You can put your website files into this folder - Macintosh HD/Library/Web-Server/Documents. You will need admin permissions to do this.

To access these, enter this into the browser - http:// - followed by the IP Address of your computer. You can get the IP number by opening System Preferences/Internet ... Wireless/Network/Advanced/TCP/IP

Its really important to test your site in both Firefox and Google Chrome since hardly any people use Safari - only about 8%.
