Publishing

User: Mike M. 7 years ago
Hello - I'm a new user - I built two separate web pages (for different jobs) on one site.

When i output the second page it outputs the first page

How do I publish each web page separately from the other?

Thanks

Create each page in a separate project.

There's a lot of info about EverWeb in the Instructional Videos.

Thanks for the reply however I already created the separate pages there must be a way to separate then and publish them. If a user decided to build the same page with different ID this would be instrumental in the same site

. Please help!

Thanks

Do you want to publish both pages to the same domain? If so, you could create a directory and put one of the pages in it. This would give you a site with one page and a sub site with the other.

I'm not sure why you would want to get this complicated when you could simply have two separate projects. A site does not just comprise the pages. There are other supporting files and folders involved.

Thanks for the reply - well I'm sure not going to do it again but I have spent time to create these two different pages so I have to resolve the problem. I only publish to a folder - so my question is; if there are two pages how do i publish just one of the pages separately or can I?

Also is there any way to see all my documents without closing the program and re-opening it.

Lastly how do I delete a website - seems I can delete the page but the web site has no option to delete that i can see.

Thanks Mike

The easiest would be to exclude the page you don't want seen from the navigation by unchecking the box in the Page inspector. It still gets published but nobody knows it's there.

If you want to prevent the search engines from indexing the page, paste this into the Head Code box in the Page inspector...

<meta name="robots" content="no index">

The "Projects Window" is opened from EverWeb's File drop down menu. You will see two little up/down triangles to the right of each projuct name. Click to open a contextual menu with options which include delete.
