Is there anyway of scrolling the foreground content over a fixed background image? Regards |

You can do this with EverWeb's default features by inserting the image as the background to a shape and checking the full width box in the Metrics inspector and selecting "Fixed position". Use another full width shape as the slide over layer. Better results can be obtained using widgets. For the fixed item, use the image widget so that you can also add the h2 page name heading. Alternatives to add a little more effect are crossfade image, scroller, carousel, slider and layer slider. This page shows how the Full Width Rectangle can be set up to create a slide over layer with variable opacity. If the rectangle's height is restricted, it can be made to slide up to reveal another full width, fixed height image set below the first one.
