I just started a simple website. Some of the pages have links to send an email. I've enabled the hyperlink to link to an email message, with address and subject filled in. Some visitors are reporting that the links don't work - no email message opens. From what I can tell, Mac users don't seem to have a problem. Phone users seem to be fine. But some windows users have problems, esp. W10 - XP works, as does 7/8 Any ideas? Thanks - |

It could be that those phones do not support the standard email linking in HTML. Perhaps they haven't configured their local email client either. It is best to use the contact form to receive emails through your website. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
