Let me start by sayig THANK YOU so much to the developers of Everweb who has really managed to pull the proverbial " rabit out of the hat" when it comes to Everweb 2.0. The Promised blog functionality is a dream come true and works like a dream BUT I have one big complaints. Why do we not have a search button as yet. So many WYSIWYG editors include it as part of web site building today , All wordpress sites can do it and most online site builders can do it. Please Everweb add a "search" button on your to-do list. I want a clean design which means NO "google search" button. Is there any way we can incorporate a search button into our sites to make them work that much better. Thanks again to the entire Everweb team Andre |

Hi Andre, Glad to hear you like the new blogging feature! We will add a search field in an upcoming release. The reason why it is easy for Wordpress to support this is because all blog posts are stored in a database. We will be moving in that direction in an upcoming release. Thanks for the feedback! ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

You can signup for a Google Custom Search and have the form and the results appear on the same page of your website rather than opening a new browser window. I think that a better way is to have the search box open in a modal window when a button is clicked. Here's a demo of a widget for creating a responsive header with navigation switch on mobile and a search icon which opens the modal. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
