How do I allow a YouTube or Vimeo video called as a popup link to another page play full screen?

When viewed in Safari, Google or FireFox, a YouTube video called through Open in a Popup Window and linked to One of My Pages containing the YouTube (or Vimeo) widget displays an overlay saying "Full screen is unavailable." Vimeo's full screen option is absent. Other videos from other websites play full screen, so it's not a browser setting limitation, as inferred by the YouTube's "Learn More" link. Ideas, anyone? See the attached screen shot. |

When you click on the fullscreen button and it throws up the warning that it is unavailable, it means that this function has been disabled on YouTube by the person who uploaded it. This is usually done when the video quality is poor and it won't display well on a large screen.
