Crashing when publishing since updating

Dear Everweb, I updated my version of Everweb to 2.0.2 yesterday and since doing so am having difficulty publishing. It gets about half way through publishing to a folder (and this is my very small site) and then the following error message pops up. I can't even submit a report before the second error message pops up and the whole thing shuts down. "The application has encountered an error in its programming. Please submit a report." "An exception of class. UnsupportedFormatException was not handled. The application must shut down." Could the second error message have something to do with using a .tiff image on the site? Any ideas what to do? Should I re-download or anything? Cheers Nadia Last edit 9 years ago |

| P.S. I removed any .tiff pictures and tried again. The same error message came up. | |

| P.P.S I recovered my old version of Everweb from the trash and tried using that to publish and it worked a treat.... so must be something with the new version. | |

I tried with the 2.0.0 version and I experienced the same problem. I re-installed the 1.9.7 version and it is OK ! (Mac Pro (début 2008) - 2 x 2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon - 20 Go 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM - MacOS 10.11.6) |

HI Arnaud, Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. Did you contact customer support so we can look over your project? If you can get us your project file ASAP and we can reproduce this issue we can get this fixed for the upcoming 2.1 release. However, we would need your project file as soon as possible because we are finalizing the release soon. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| I'm having the same problem with 2.0.2. I've paid to have my site hosted by EverWeb, switching from another hosting company. My old hosting plan ends at midnight tonight. I've sent my project files to EverWeb and we have tried many different things over the last five days, none of which have worked. Unfortunately, if it isn't resolved in the next couple hours, I'm going to have to renew with my old hosting company. I hope I can get a refund from Everweb. | |

Hi Michael, I only saw a crash report from 1.9.7, not 2.0.2. I replied to your email asking for one so I can take a look. Sorry for the issues. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
