Un-editable vertical space added by blog pages?

Currently a color block at the bottom of the page can be placed exactly against the footer. If the same color is used in the footer the color expanse appears seamless. On a test document with a new Blog all of the Blog pages in the Everweb edit window appear to support condition that but when published in Safari or Chrome there is a white space approximately the size of the text space of the Blog navigational bottom menu. It can not be addressed from the document space or the footer space. It's just inserted apparently. Is this an anomaly or is there a method to allow access to that space for editorial access? At the moment I can't see any way to control any of that space. As an aside I also noted that there is a color shift in Safari but not Chrome of all the text colors towards red to purplish. Thanks for any assistance best, DLD |

HI Donna This happens as the blog widget itself 'pushes' the shape down a bit on publish. From what I understand this is as it should be, although it's inconvenient for sure. To get round this, try using allow free dragging on the vertical object. You may have to make the extend the vertical object a bit into the horizontal one in the footer for the whole thing to appear 'solid' and without gaps. Hope that helps |
